Dana Venkert completed her M.Sc. in Molecular, Cellular, and Systemic Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, where she studied the Interdisciplinary Program, focusing on physics, biomedical engineering, and biology. In the Sigsyncell network, she develops RNA origami nanostructures for programmable synthetic cells. Her research focuses on co-transcriptional folding of RNA origami and its integration with membrane-binding aptamers to create self-assembled and evolvable molecular interfaces on liposomes. By combining RNA design, directed evolution, and biophysical analysis, she aims to establish RNA-based platforms that enable synthetic cells to produce and display functional molecular architectures autonomously.
