Synthetic exosomes for long-distance cell-cell communication

This project explores how synthetic cells can be engineered to communicate with living mammalian cells by releasing exosome-like particles. By programming synthetic cells to selectively dispatch these nanoscale messengers, the project aims to establish new strategies for delivering sophisticated molecular signals into complex biological systems. The long-term vision is to harness this communication platform for advanced therapeutic and biotechnology applications such as targeted drug delivery and programmable tissue modulation.
