Bingkun Li

Bingkun received her BSc in Biological Sciences in Sichuan University, and MSc in Translational Medicine from Heidelberg University and the University of Groningen. During her master’s, she worked on characterizing disordered proteins involved in physiological and disease processes. After graduation, she briefly worked on developing membrane deformation assays for synthetic cells. Bingkun has now joined the Booth Group to work on remote control of synthetic transmembrane signaling, where she would like to explore diverse methods for constructing and controlling membrane assemblies in synthetic cells.
