Atreyee Saha

I am Atreyee Saha, an inquisitive biologist committed to exploring the mysteries of life at the cellular level. I did my Master’s in Biotechnology from University of Calcutta. My primary focus is on understanding how living cells coordinate their communication. This fascination extends to synthetic biology, where I seek to explore how the principles of natural cellular signalling can be applied to synthetic cells. I got attracted to the world of optogenetics and currently I joined the Wegner Group as a PhD candidate working with photosensitive GUVs and their chemical communication.
